This easy recipe for yeast dinner rolls is a family favorite. It can be made in less than an hour so it is a perfect addition to any weeknight meal.
warm water
oil
active dry yeast
sugar
salt
egg
bread flour
In your stand mixer bowl, combine water, oil, yeast and sugar with a whisk. Allow to rest for 15 minutes.
Heat oven to 400° F.
Using dough hook, mix in salt, egg and flour.
Knead with hook until well incorporated and dough is soft and smooth. This should take a few minutes.
Form dough into 12 balls and place in 9×13 backing dish or a cast iron skillet. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
If you find that your dough will not come together because it is too dry, add water a tablespoon at a time until you have the desired consistency. Add flour (a tablespoon at a time) if dough is too wet.
